The Bracken Family Tree

This site was set up so that relatives can see how I am getting on with researching the family tree. My main research has concentrated on the Bracken and Moores sides of the family. The Ross side has been provided by my wife Dawn's father,Ted Ross.

I have now just about reached as far back as I can go on the actual Bracken name. John Bracken was born around about1800, in Ballyboy County Offaly in Ireland and he was my Great Great Great Grandfather. He farmed the peat bog with his family. His son James had a son and named him John.

John (junior) went to London in 1880 and worked on the London docks. John had a son called called William. That's him at the top of the page. He worked on the Railway and lived in Bethnal Green, William had 10 Children one of whom was Patrick my father.

I now intend to try to go forward and sideways from John Bracken (senior) and try to find as many living relatives as I can.

I am sure that some of the information is incorrect and incomplete. If you know that is so or you have pictures or any information you think might help then please e-mail me on the e-mail link above

Start by clicking on the Home Family Page button in the Menu then you can navigate around the tree by clicking on the individual names. Each page represents a family unit. Enjoy browsing what has taken me years to find.
